Living Dead Weekend Friday Ticketing Check-In! Very important information about today’s ticket check-in:

In order to expedite the ticketing procedure for all the different levels of tickets, we have a staggered schedule for checkin tomorrow.

10:00 AM to 11:00 AM: Only attendees who have pre-purchased a Friday NOON Mall Tour may check in during this hour.

11:00 AM to NOON: Only VIP PASS holders AND anyone who has a Friday NOON Mall Tour may checkin during this hour.

NOON to 1:00: Only VIP PASS holders may checkin during this hour.

1:00 PM and forward: All tickets types will be allowed to checkin.

Remember, only VIP pass holders will be allowed into the vendor halls between the hours of NOON and 2:00 PM.

All general admission ticket holders will get access to the halls beginning at 2:00 PM

The ticket booth is on the lower level at the edge of Romero Court, near the Dick’s Sporting Goods store.

Everybody of all ticket types must report to this ticketing booth before they can begin to do anything at all at the weekend, including all tours, movie screening, and anything else. You must get your admission ticket here.

PHOTO OP Tickets can be obtained in Hall B after your admission, tickets and other add-on tickets are checked in at the regular ticket booth.

Another very important thing, every attendee must have an admission ticket, that means either a VIP ticket, 3-day weekend ticket, or single day ticket. Any tour ticket or movie screening ticket is simply an add-on to the admission ticket and you will not be able to participate in those events without a proper admission ticket to the overall event.

All general admission tickets are available at the ticket booth, you do not need to purchase them on the EventBrite ticket site.

One final warning: do not attempt to report to the tour start location or the movie theater for a screening without first obtaining these physical tickets at the main ticket booth. Your QR codes on your phone or anything else are meaningless at the tour location and the movie theater. You must have already obtained physical tickets. If this happens, you will be turned away and sent back to the ticketing booth, and possibly will miss the beginning of the event.

Making a very rare appearance for the Living Dead Weekend's once-in-a-lifetime DAWN OF THE DEAD cast & crew reunion is JIM BALAWAJDER! Jim holds the unique distinction of being the only zombie in the mall to be killed prior to our heroes' arrival. Fans will remember him from the scene where Peter and Roger restore power to the mall. Having been dispatched at the entrance to an escalator, Jim's inert zombie co**se receives an uxexpected ride to the mall's upper level, accompanied by comical slide whistle Muzak.

Jim is the cousin of Denise Kiss and so he was recruited by her along with other family members and friends to appear as extras in George Romero's living dead masterpiece. While on location, the production staff needed an extra to play a very specific role: a dead zombie. They were looking for someone who would only be on set for a single day to avoid any potential continuity errors with returning actors. Jim volunteered for the part and stepped to perform the somewhat dangerous act of lying motionless upon a moving escalator.

Jim Balawajder will only be appearing on Friday, June 12 at The Living Dead Weekend. Be sure not to miss your chance to meet the escalator zombie!
