Happy Earth Day! Ever wonder what a frame shop does with extra material? The rows of empty frames towards our back entrance are made from end pieces from custom projects. We recycle as much as we can, donate old framing to Artscraps and save packing material for eBay sellers.

But it's not just us! Our vendors also aim to maintain sustainable practices - some are FSC certified and provide PEFC certified moulding. Some use renewable North American hardwoods, harvested in a way that ends up increasing the amount of trees and forests. Another makes framing moulding out of reclaimed Barnwood and building materials. Ask your framing designer for more information.

Our client recently visited the Nobel Peace Center, then framed portraits of Black Nobel Peace Prize laureate - leaders whose work reshaped the world through courage, care, and moral clarity.

These are people who didn't just imagine a more just world - they organized, protected, healed, reconciled, and insisted on dignity even when it was costly. It's an honor to help preserve stories like these.
