“Throughout her work and studio practice, Wendland reimagines and reinterprets her past through a deeply personal form of worldbuilding: creating her own version of a woods that offers safe refuge when home cannot; a fully vibrant palette reverberating with emotional and environmental saturation; and language that invites curiosity instead of obedience. The ecology of her practice centers reconnection to the body, the exploration, to self-trust. In every brushstroke, loose line, and flowing drip, she reclaims her life and creativity”

Rhonda Willers is an author and multidisciplinary artist whose practice incorporates ceramics, facial tissues, sound, mixed media, drawing, painting, and time-based installations. Her work lingers in the quiet moments where memory, ritual, and transformation meet.

MANY VOICES
is a collaborative painting project engaging the Augsburg community created by Art & Design students. Project leads designed eight paint-by-number canvas banners and then turned the Christensen Gallery into a studio space and invited students, staff, and faculty to paint. Over two weeks, more than 130 people came together to make. This show is the culmination of that time with one another.
