Minnehaha Depot Historic Milwaukee Road Depot in the heart of Minnehaha Park, operating as a museum.

Milwaukee Road employees referred to the Minnehaha Depot as the "Princess" because of its delicate gingerbread canopy. The Depot was built in 1875 to replace a smaller station on the first railroad line into the Twin Cities from Chicago

It's with deep sadness that we note the passing of one of our stellar volunteers - Suzy Kangas. For twelve summers, Suzy regaled visitors with interpretation and information about Robert "Fish" Jones, the Longfellow Zoological Gardens, the Longfellow House, and the Milwaukee Road here at the Princess. We've lost a dear friend and colleague.
