This photo is from 2012. Notice the Indeed Brewing Co. Minneapolis sign that says “Opening Soon!” 👀
At the time about 20 artists had moved into our second floor while Indeed was finishing the buildout of its brewery and taproom on the first floor. You could smell the anticipation!
Later that year Indeed opened its taproom and started brewing b**r right here.
Fast forward to today. Indeed Brewing is still rocking it, with two taprooms and an awesome outdoor patio. Our art community is still creating, now with 36 artists making work here. And our top floor? A charming event space by Mintahoe At Solar Arts complete with a brand new outdoor deck overlooking the main drag of the iconic Northeast Minneapolis Arts District.
2012 still kinda feels like yesterday… But now we’re bringing pieces of all that history back together for a dynamic show. ROLL CALL: A Solar Arts Reunion Exhibition. The people, the art, the stories. November 5th at 5-9pm
