Founded by artist Nicholas Harper in 1999, the Rogue Buddha is an award winning contemporary art gallery located in the heart of the Northeast Arts District and is home to the visual arts, dance, film/video and music. The Rogue Buddha has been featured in dozens of local, national and international publications. Named best gallery/museum in the Twin Cities and number 8 in a list of the top 20 essential galleries in the nation, the Rogue Buddha has earned it’s reputation by showcasing the best in local, national and international art. GQ Magazine featured the RBG as one of the best galleries from around the world! Dedicated to providing our clientele with the best in contemporary art, the Rogue Buddha focuses on raw and edgy work from internationally renowned artists to national and local rising stars. As well as visual art, the Rogue Buddha Gallery has also earned a reputation for its support of the local dance, film and music community.

We are just ten nights away from the beginning of October, the most wonderfully haunted month of the year. And you know what that means, the return of the 31 Nights of Halloween!

For those new to the tradition eight years in the making, I release a new miniature study every night in October at 9PM. Each piece carries a distinct haunted vibe and is always priced under one hundred dollars.

This year, however, there’s a twist...

I won’t let the cat outta the bag quite yet. Suffice it to say, the 9PM art drops will happen as usual.

More details will be released as the veil thins.

After almost a year in the works, a project I've been working on is finally coming to fruition! Last year I received a grant from the city of Mpls, in partnership with the Sheridan Neighborhood Organization, to create a workshop on creativity. That workshop is now here! There will be a total of 12 dates available over the next month or so in which to attend the workshop. The first two dates, next Wed and Thurs, are now online and available for booking. (New dates and times will be released weekly.) The workshops are limited to ten people and are absolutely free with all materials provided. This is an interactive workshop with a communal art making project aspect, however no creative or art making experience is necessary. In fact, it's encouraged as this workshop is tailored to those who have perhaps become disconnected from their creative side or fear that creativity is not for them. The fact is, creativity is so much more than making art or working in a "creative" field, and it's innate in all of us. To learn more, click the link below in the comments.

Last night's Death Cafe featuring North Star Paranormal Research (Please give them a follow here: https://www.facebook.com/NSParanormal ) was absolutely amazing! Thank you so much to the members for coming and sharing their stories and insights as well as allowing us to participate in the first hour of last night's investigation! And a huge thank you to everyone who made it out and packed the house! If you missed it, not to worry, they will definitely be back!
