“Summer Sizzle,” the Northrup King Building’s indoor art fair is happening tomorrow, August 15, 10 a.m. until 6 p.m. throughout the building.

Kolman & Reeb Gallery’s doors will open as usual at 12 p.m., however, and will remain open until 8 p.m. See below to find out why!

From 1 p.m. to 3 p.m., Laura Andrews, Project Space Grantee, will demonstrate how she created her eye-catching paintings for her current exhibition, “Transparent Eye.” During Laura’s free demonstration you can create a mini masterpiece to take home.

After “Summer Sizzle” ends at 6 p.m., the gallery will extend your artful Saturday with Laura’s Artist Reception. You can meet and talk with Laura, explore “Transparent Eye,” and enjoy tasty treats.

Make It an Artful Saturday at Kolman & Reeb Gallery!

Summer Sizzle is taking over the Northrup King Building this Saturday, August 15, and Kolman & Reeb Gallery is joining the fun with art, conversation, and a hands-on creative event.

The building-wide indoor art fair runs from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., with studios open throughout the Northrup King Building. Kolman & Reeb Gallery will be open from 12 p.m. to 8 p.m., featuring Laura Andrews’ Project Space Grant exhibition, “Transparent Eye.”

From 1 p.m. to 3 p.m., stop by for Laura’s free Collage Make-and-Take Demonstration. Laura will share how she alters found magazine images and transforms landscape imagery into something unexpected. Then you can try it yourself and create a mini masterpiece to take home.

Stick around, or come back later, for Laura’s Artist Reception from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Meet the artist, explore “Transparent Eye,” enjoy tasty treats, and wrap up your Summer Sizzle Day with us at the gallery.
