Woohoo got this one done, fun corduroy fabric with a soft Paisley upholstery for the top part a nice antique button for the closure.

I'm really messing around with some of my leather scraps, I love all those raw edges. I think maybe you have to be a wild child to wear this one. I can't pin on leather so that's why you see all those plastic clips

I have another design ready with this lovely woven fabric. I think I will try to leave a lot of unraveled loose threads as part of the design and it looks and feels a little scratchy so I might have to find fun colorful silk lining to put in.

I love this beautiful wool mohair fabric and plan to design this lovely Cape with a hood and leather trim on the front and where the buttons will go and use these great ceramic buttons I found to Accent the red. I'm planning to have this finished for sure in October for the Art Crawl that I'll be in over in the Schmidt building.

I know we don't want to think about it but it will be winter before we know it and this warm Cape with a nice thermal lining will certainly do the trick.

I'm creating a lot of new designs in leather, but in order to do that I have to try them out on less expensive materials and so this is what I have on hand to create a skirt and get the pattern right.

I'm so excited, my sister Patti is coming all the way from Hawaii for 3 weeks, end of September and we are putting on a trunk show of fashion designs at the textile center on Saturday September 30th. I'll send all the details at the beginning of September. But I'm going to add a picture here of some of the new designs that I'm creating just for this show.

This was a dress that was too large had long sleeves a high-neck and to the floor. So the sleeves were taken off the neck was brought down a bunch of the fullness was taken away and this lovely Japanese fabric I had was inserted into the waste area and used his binding around the neck and arm holes. I love creating new things out of something you already have.

A friend gave me some lovely woven 1980s drapery fabric scraps , so I decided to try and make a jacket. Here's the design that I drew and I have the front cut out and the back assembled.
