Still buzzing from Hold the Boundary. 💧
Thank you to everyone who came out to Can Can Wonderland last night. It was such a good night of art, conversation, music, familiar faces, and meeting people we had only known through their artwork and emails until now.
It meant a lot to have so many of the participating artists there with us, including several who made the trip from other parts of Minnesota. Getting to finally meet so many of you in person and see this collection together on the walls was one of the best parts of the night.
And a huge thank you to our panel of certified smarty pants for saying yes when we asked you to be part of this, and for bringing so much knowledge, perspective, and good conversation to the night.
• Colleen O’Connor Toberman, moderator

• Kathryn Bodor, Climate Justice Committee Climate Justice Committee

• Jearica Fountain, participating Hold the Boundary artist Jearica Fountain

• Evan Mulholland, Minnesota Center for Environmental Advocacy

• David Meier, Friends of the Boundary Waters Wilderness
Thank you for helping all of us better understand what Governor Walz’s recent executive order means, why the work is not finished, and what protecting the Boundary Waters looks like from the perspectives of law, conservation, climate justice, advocacy, and art.
And now the entire Hold the Boundary collection is live at ArtYouHeart.com. All 50 posters are available to purchase online.
Proceeds support Friends of the Boundary Waters Wilderness, Save the Boundary Waters, and Honor the Earth.
The exhibition remains on view at Can Can Wonderland through September 19, and tomorrow, August 27, is the final day for free admission with a free Eventbrite ticket. Link in profile.
Thank you to everyone who helped make this happen. 💧

The conversation behind Hold the Boundary
On Tuesday, August 25, we are bringing together people working across clean water, environmental protection, climate justice, Indigenous stewardship, and the future of the Boundary Waters.

— Legal, regulatory, and government perspective
Jearica Fountain
