The Minerva Area Historical Society will meet on Monday, October 26, 2026, at the Minerva Public Library at 6:00 PM. The speaker for the meeting will be Kim Chuckalovchak, Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer at Consumers National Bank. Kim has been part of the Information Systems Department of Consumers since 2005. Her leadership brings together technology strategy, cybersecurity, risk and governance, team development, and practical innovation. She focuses on translating complex technology into solutions that protect the bank, strengthen employees, support customers, and advance the mission of community banking. Kim is a long-time member of InfraGard, Northeast Ohio Chapter and in January of 2026 became a member of the Board of Directors of the local chapter. Kim will be sharing security tips and reminders, providing information on scams to watch out for and the importance of creating strong passwords, all of which will help you keep your personal information secure and prevent you from falling victim to fraud. There will be a short business meeting and refreshments will be served. The annual dinner meeting will be held on November 23rd at the Minerva Senior Center. Nominees will be presented by the Trustees and accepted from the floor to fill the expiring terms of board members. A nominee must be a current member and in good standing to qualify for nomination. The speaker will be from the National First Ladies Library & Museum and will present an interesting program on Ohio’s First Ladies.
