In conjunction with the 15th anniversary celebration of the Mineola Historical Museum, the Time Capsule Cornerstone Rededication will also be celebrated Monday, Sept. 9 at 5 p.m. The Cornerstone Rededication will begin promptly at 5 p.m. and will be a brief event to acknowledge the placement of a new time capsule box in the cornerstone of the 1936 former Mineola Post Office Building for a future generation. The Rededication is being held by the Landmark Commission. Museum Board members will serve refreshments from 5 to 7 p.m. for the celebration.

The Elizabeth Denton English Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution honored Sharon Chamblee and the Historical Museum Board Saturday morning in a ceremony at Harvest Acres Baptist Church for their countless hours of volunteer service to the community.
