The Mineola Historical Museum is honored to partner with the Elizabeth Denton English Chapter NSDAR. Members: Christine Headrick, Linda Haddock, Mary Stockwell, Susan Few, Brenda Martinez and Karen Deatherage decorated their chapter’s Patriot Tree to add to our display for the America250 celebration. The tree is adorned with ornaments honoring each member’s first patriot proven to have served in the Revolutionary War and which provided the path for them to join DAR. The women were generous in their praise of the museum’s displays and quality of our exhibits. So much so that two of them are interested in becoming docents. “ Planting patriot roots for future generations-America250 at the Mineola Historical Museum “
