For History Book club this week we will be learning about Neil Armstrong! We will be reading the Book "I am Neil Armstrong" by Brad Meltzer and doing a simple craft. An adult must accompany kids to book club.

For History Club our topic will remain a mystery for the students to work together and uncover!

They say "many hands make light work," and today, our amazing community proved exactly that!

We want to send a massive THANK YOU to every single volunteer who stepped up, grabbed a pair of work gloves, and helped out Pioneer Village today. Thanks to your incredible hard work, the massive amount of limbs and branches left behind by last night's high winds were cleared away in no time.

Pioneer Village is a historic landmark, but it's the people right here in Minden that make it truly special. We are so incredibly grateful for your time, your energy, and your unmatched community spirit.

We couldn’t have done it without you! 🙌✨

⚠️ VOLUNTEERS NEEDED TOMORROW! ⚠️

​Tonight’s high winds brought down a lot of tree limbs and branches across Pioneer Village. We’re putting together a volunteer crew tomorrow to help pick up the debris and get the grounds cleared off.

​If you are free tomorrow and want to help out a community landmark, please stop on by!

​Bring: Work gloves (if you have them!)

​Any help is greatly appreciated. Let’s get the Village looking good as new! 💪🪵
