Milwaukee’s hands-on children’s museum, where kids can explore their world through play. It opened in 1995.

The Betty Brinn Children's Museum provides interactive exhibits and educational resources that promote the healthy development of children. The Museum experience encourages hands-on learning and the development of fundamental skills, self-esteem, and the ability to work with others. Caregivers use the Museum as a resource that provides information on early childhood brain development, learning styles, and effective parenting skills. The Museum maintains a strong commitment to providing access to all children and families in the community, including low-income and special needs families. The Betty Brinn Children's Museum is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.

Things are getting spooky in Be A Maker: Lab! 👻

This month, kids can build and design their own Spooky Popping Creature and put it to the test. How high can it jump? How far can it fly? As they build, launch and experiment, they’ll discover how potential energy transforms into kinetic energy!

Join us Wednesday-Sunday at 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. This program is included with general admission.

🦉 Meet the four owls joining us for Betty BOO’s Spooktacular this Saturday, October 10!

Our friends from Schlitz Audubon Nature Center are bringing four feathered friends to the Museum for an up-close Owl Meet-and-Greet, plus a special Bats are Beautiful program to help families learn more about some of nature’s coolest creatures.
