The next time you are at the Layton Avenue observation area at MKE, check out the Wisconsin Historical Society marker for General Mitchell Field. The marker was dedicated in 1976 for the airport's 50th anniversary. Right below it is a memorial for passengers and crew of Midwest Express Flight 105.
