The Silver Museum Since 1972, The Silver Museum has acquired silver pieces for its collection. We also buy and sell. None of the items in our museum are for sale.

The Silver Museum displays highly important pieces of sterling silver flatware and hollowware from The United States, England and Europe from the 15th century to the 21st Century. Our goal is to encourage the appreciation of silver as an art and to educate the public about how wonderful collecting silver can be. We do take consignments and or can purchase items that you have for sale. As of 9-19-2

Important Major Silver Auction:
The semi-annual primary silver auction at Heritage Auction House is taking place on May 22, 2026 in Dallas, Texas. As always, the auction has a lot of really important and major pieces made by Tiffany as well as many awesome pieces of sterling silver mixed with other metals. There are also many cool serving pieces made by various companies like Gorham, George W. Shiebler, Reed & Barton and many others.

Customer literally hauled in a steamer trunk full of silver that we had to sort through and purchase its contents. They left very happy. They took the trunk with them. They claimed it was brought across the Atlantic on the Queen Mary by their ancestors so they didn’t want to sell it for sentimental reasons. Please let us know if you have any silver flatware, hollowware, silver or gold jewelry, coins or bullion that you would like to sell even if is just one piece that’s fine too, but we especially love to buy large collections that were accumulated over years or decades.
