❤️ The Mispillion Art League Stands with Lulu Ross Elementary School 🎨
Our hearts go out to the children, teachers, staff, and families of Lulu Elementary School in Milford, Delaware, following the devastating fire. A school is so much more than a building. It is a place where children learn, grow, discover their creativity, and build memories that last a lifetime. We know this loss is difficult for the entire school community, especially the children who have lost a familiar place of learning and expression.
As a community organization dedicated to the arts and the power of creativity, the Mispillion Art League wants the students and teachers of Lulu Ross to know that you are not alone, and we are here to help.
Members of our Board and the art league will be reaching out to connect with the school’s art teacher to explore ways we might support the students and help bring creativity, comfort, and a sense of normalcy back into their lives during this challenging time.
If there is any assistance the Mispillion Art League can provide, we encourage the school, its teachers, families, and community members to please reach out to us. Whether through art supplies, creative activities, or other ways of supporting the children, we want to do what we can to help.
Art has a remarkable ability to bring people together, offer comfort, and help us express what words sometimes cannot. We hope to share that gift with the children of Lulu Ross Elementary as our Milford community comes together to support them.
