UPDATE: All the Hometown Hero Banners have been hung.

The pole painting is nearing completion and Middletown Borough will start hanging the Hometown Hero Banners tomorrow (Monday).

In celebration of America 250, the Middletown Area Historical Society is proud to offer Hometown Hero Street Pole Banners honoring those who have served our country and community.
Quantities are limited, as banners will be displayed exclusively on Middletown’s ornate street light poles.

Order forms are available at Borough Hall or online at

All order forms, payment and a digital photo (no hard copies) must be submitted by March 1.
