How do we bring about PEACE in our own communities?
By understanding, learning about and celebrating our neighbors.
We are stronger, happier and more productive when we work through LOVE.

Our son, Riziki, sent me this little video of the work at our PEACE HOUSE as of this past weekend. With so many peoples love and support, we're getting there! Our daughter Witness is singing in the background; a song she wrote and recorded. Asante Sana everyone. ❤

Our Musical Director, 's ONE CONCERT/ONE CHILD series is now in its 17th year. Every concert helps pay expenses for one of our Children of Peace in Tanzania. 10% of every concert is donated to our local food pantry in Middletown, CT, Amazing Grace. Our daughter on the left in this photo, Dorcas, is in college studying Laboratory Studies. Delphine, on the top right finished Form 4 and is now the mother of a beautiful little three year old daughter. Neema on the bottom right will be graduating college as a Community Developer. Hundreds of musicians, storytellers and poets and performers have donated their talents throughout the years to help AFWP reach our dreams. Together, along with our amazing audiences and supporters we have raised a family of 24 children and provided scholarships to students in the U.S. and Nepal. As a huge group of international artists, we continue to change lives. Every day, since 2003. Our hearts are full.
