Raimundo Figueroa, Renata, 2005.

Bronze with white patina, 11 × 21 × 7.5 in. Edition 6/6.
Among the six casts that make up Renata’s edition — two in white patina, two in black, one in silver, one in bronze — only two exist in this pale, luminous finish. The figure is mid-stride, caught in the particular alertness of an animal that moves as though it already knows where it is going.

On view now through July 4 at RUDOLF BUDJA THEGALLERY, Miami Beach.

We Are opened this Friday at RUDOLF BUDJA THEGALLERY

A solo exhibition by Puerto Rican artist Raimundo Figueroa, bringing together large-scale paintings on canvas alongside intimate works on paper. Figueroa’s paintings are built through gesture, layering, and sustained attention, moving between abstraction and the suggestion of form. Thank you to everyone who joined us for the opening reception.

The exhibition continues through July 2026.

Now on view — Still Looking.
Available works by Sigmar Polke.
Untitled (I) and Untitled (II), 1998
Acrylic and interference color on paper,
40 × 27 in.

The pair carry sequential numbering, identical in dimension and medium: a rare pair from Polke’s late material period. The interference pigments shift tonally with every change in light and viewing angle.

Still Looking is now on view through May 2. The exhibition brings together sixteen artists across painting, sculpture, photography, and works on paper. Different mediums and movements in conversation — bound by shared tension and a shared restlessness: the refusal to let the image, the surface, or the body settle into certainty.

Figuration against abstraction. The intimate against the monumental. Unique works alongside mass-produced prints. The male and the female in genderless fusion.

These works were once held by a single collector, gathered over time and looked at privately. Now they turn to face the public.

Keith Tyson, Nature Painting, 2006 Oil on Aluminum
39 × 75 in

Keith Tyson pours and manipulates paint directly onto aluminium — a non-absorbent surface that lets light bounce back through the layers, giving the work an internal luminosity impossible on canvas. The result reads simultaneously as weather system, cellular structure, and deep space.

On view from February 27, 2026

Reinhardt’s ongoing EXIT series reframes the ubiquitous emergency exit sign as a poetic symbol of presence, choice, and renewal—captured across cities and transitional spaces worldwide over more than a decade.

Thank you .jul for the thoughtful feature on Rudolf Budja THEGALLERY and Big Baby Jesus, curated by Tripoli Gallery and Abril Ariztizabal.

The article captures the intention behind this new chapter in Sunset Harbour. From the collaboration with Tripoli Patterson to the central role of artists like Thomas Houseago and Charles McGill, the piece reflects on the exhibition as sustained inquiry.

Thank you for engaging with the deeper arc of what we are building here in Miami Beach.

‘Big Baby Jesus’ | On View Through Feb 20, 206

Angelbert’s multidisciplinary practice references ancient cosmologies, modern philosophy, and cross-cultural mythologies. Lewis’s language driven books are approached as a living system; exploring its textures until form, image, and sound begin to speak back.
