Hey Merrill residents. Do you recognize these kids? The year was 1982, I'm pretty sure they were from Midway School. Thanks for your help.
The Merrill Historical Society is committed to helping individuals of the Merrill area and elsewhere engage in the past in new and exciting ways, fostering partnerships, mutual growth and learning about the past, the present and the future.
We are a group of volunteers who enjoy learning about and studying the past. Whether it's Rangers or River Rates, floods or fires, milliners or millionaires, trolleys or trains, you'll find someone in the Society who is interested in researching these and many other topics using our extensive collection of Blue Books, City Directories, high school yearbooks, and historic photos and postcards.

The Merrill History & Culture Center is the headquarters of the Merrill Historical Society & the History & Culture Center Museum. We offer research opportunities for the Merrill area in our Library. If you have specific inquiries, please call to make an appointment so we can prepare your research documents. The museum offers two permanent exhibits - one on the history of Jenny to Merrill - and one on the Native American presence with many copper and stone artifacts from the Ebert Collection. We also have rotating and changing exhibits - stop in and see what's on display!
