Join local author Tom Burg as he celebrates the release of his new book:

The Milwaukee Road’s Gleason Line

The Milwaukee Road’s Gleason Line played an important role in serving the logging industry throughout the first half of the 20th century, connecting the railroad, the forests, and the communities that helped build our region.

Tom will be on hand to talk about the book, share stories about the Gleason Line and Wisconsin’s logging railroad history and visit with anyone interested in this fascinating part of our local past.

The Historical Society Museum is open to the public with no admission cost. Donations are welcomed.
Hours of Business:
Monday through Friday: 9am until 1pm
Wednesdays: 9am until 1pm and 2pm-4:30pm

A Japanese mortar cannon was found buried in Lincoln County and recently acquired by the Merrill Historical Society.
