Merkel Area Historical Museum The Merkel Area Historical Museum is 13,000 square feet of exhibits from the Pioneer Days, Civil War Meetings are the first Thursday of the month at 6pm.

Member renewals and new members, $25. Membership runs from Aug. 1st to July 31st.

We are proud to host the Merkel Girl Scout Troop 7018 as our guests as they tell us all about the History of the Girl Scouts, their past and present participation in the Merkel Area and their Positive outlook going forward. We encourage you to join us and learn more about what WE do and how you can join us all!

On behalf of all of us at The Merkel Historical Museum, we want to wish everyone a Very Merry Christmas!

We WILL BE CLOSED DEC 26-27 to be with our friends and family.

🎯Please come join us this coming Thursday, Dec 4th.

🎯We have planned an amazing performance by the 🙏First Baptist Church Choir starting at 6pm

🎯Everyone attending will be given a raffle ticket, making you eligible for the Christmas Raffle Basket. Extra tickets can be purchased.
🎯We will enjoy Christmas Carols and then yummy Potluck at 630PM and general public meeting at 7pm.

We are blessed to be supported and loved by our local communities and we hope to see you next week!!!
