We are ONE month away from our 50th Summer Threshing Show!

Here's whats going on in the next few weeks:
Wheat binding (weather permitting) - June 20 - wheat field behind the church - Come to watch or come to help!
June MAETA meeting - June 28 at 5:30 in the Bloomfield Church
July Farmers/Vintage Market - July 4 - 9am -2pm
Summer Threshing Show - July 17-19 - gates open at 7am

VENDOR REMINDER: All vendors must confirm their reservation in advance with Hannah Johnson at 785-213-1371 or Mariah Scott at 785-383-6130 to secure and guarantee booth space for the Summer Show.

The wheat boss’s have said that if the weather gods behave this week, the wheat should be ready for bundling this Saturday, June 20th. So, all hands on deck are requested to help pitch wheat bundles. Bring a pitchfork if you have one, meet at the MAETA, grounds at 8:30 am. Stay tuned for any updates.

Things are still rockin’ here at the Truck Show! Votes are coming in. Vendors are selling. The kitchen is cranking out yummy food. We will be announcing winners at 2:30. There’s still time to come on down!

Good morning from the 7th annual MAETA Truck and Car Show! The kitchen is ready to serve breakfast burritos, biscuits and gravy, and cinnamon rolls for breakfast. The smoking crew has ribs, pulled pork, and beans for lunch.

Quite a few vendors are here with every thing from tools to fresh produce.

Pandra, Susie, and Sarah are checking in cars, trucks, motorcycles, and firetrucks. More vehicles keep coming in!

The rain is supposed to wait until this evening so come on down!

Looks like it’s going to be a great day with the rain holding off until tomorrow night for our 7th Annual Truck, Car & Motorcycle Show! The Meriden Smoking Crew is already cooking for the Chuckwagon! Gates open at 7, bring your toys out to show off, plaques awarded, judging at 2:30. FREE ADMISSION!!!
