The Connecticut Pastel Society is spending the weekend at Gallery 53 for a three-day workshop, “Painting With Intent,” led by Eminent Pastelist Tara Will of Maryland!

Painting With Intent encourages artists to think about what they want to say—and how they want to say it—BEFORE picking up their pastels, using color, composition, value and mark-making with purpose.

We’re thrilled to see our new third-floor art studio filled with talented artists from Connecticut and beyond!
