What a great day at Old Falls Village Historical Park! Donny Hebbring was remembered by family and friends as the Honey Bucket gang was out in full force. The Menomonee Falls Historical Society wishes to thank all who came out, especially Mr. Brews who raised over $500 for the society with their corn hole tournament and raffles.

Weather finally blessed the Menomonee Falls historical Society with a perfect day to paint! Thanks to the great volunteers one side of the Public House is complete. No longer look for the blue house but the light green hose at Old Falls historical Park

A Heartfelt Thank You — Gold Star Room Dedication
First and foremost, I would like to extend my deepest and most heartfelt thank you to Sue Ward, the Lex family, the Kelley family, and the Miller family for joining us on Saturday for the dedication of the Gold Star Room.

A very special thank you to the Tripoli Scottish Highlanders and the Wisconsin Wing of the Commemorative Air Force for helping make the dedication so memorable, including the incredible flyover.

I also want to give a special thank you to the Honor Squad of American Legion Post 382 for their participation and for helping provide the dignity and honor that this ceremony deserved.

This room was created with one purpose — to honor and remember the Gold Star families and the brave men from our community who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country. Having family members with us for the dedication made the day even more meaningful. Please know that this room will always be your room, and you will always be welcome here.

A special thank you to Denise, Tom, Ellen, and Janet for sharing your words, stories, and thoughts during the dedication. Your participation helped make the ceremony truly special.

I also want to thank the Menomonee Falls Historical Society and American Legion Post 382 for their tremendous support throughout this project. It took many people working together to bring this room to life, and I am incredibly grateful to everyone who gave their time, knowledge, talent, and support.

This was more than the dedication of a room. It was the dedication of a place where these men will never be forgotten and where their families can always come to remember them.

Every photograph, every name, and every story represents a life given in service to our country. Behind each name is a family who carried the weight of that sacrifice.

May this room always stand as a reminder of their courage, their service, and the price they paid for our freedom.
