SUCCESSFUL START

Moving into a new home comes with plenty of challenges: unpacking, figuring out how to best use new spaces, and making sure everything still feels like you.

For this out-of-state move, our client was moving into a home with a completely different layout. She didn’t have the time or the mental space to solve the puzzle of where everything should go.

What she did know? She wanted an unpacked, organized kitchen and pantry with gold accents.

We unpacked, took inventory of what the family owned and actually used, and developed a plan for the new space. Then we sourced pieces that brought in the gold, made everything easy to see and access, and created a pantry that functions beautifully for this family from day one.

OUT OF SIGHT, OUT OF MIND?

Do you have appliances or kitchen gadgets you forget you own and therefore never use?

If you’re keeping them because you’re convinced you would use them if you could actually see and access them, make that happen!

This client had a snow cone machine and mini waffle maker that rarely made it into the rotation. Instead of letting them disappear we gave them a visible, accessible home. All the accessories needed to enjoy a snow cone are stored together.

Visible containment + easy access = no more “I forgot I had it” excuse.

When you can see what you own, know exactly where it lives, and grab it without moving five other things first, it has a much better chance of coming out to play.
If you have the space, set those rarely used appliances up for success. Enjoy what you own. Use it. Store it properly.

And if you discover that you still aren’t using something even when it’s visible and accessible? That might be your sign that it’s time to say goodbye.

Get ready to sell (and move)!

Once you make the decision to move, the to-do list gets long fast. Life doesn’t slow down just because you suddenly have more to do.
Prepping your home to put on the market takes time, energy, and a lot of decisions. That’s where having a team makes a difference.

When our team arrives, we can:
* Tackle multiple spaces in one day
* Pack items you’re keeping but won’t need before the move
* Remove unwanted items that day for donation

This hall closet is a perfect example. While one team member completely decluttered and organized the closet, our client was in the kitchen with another team member deciding what to donate, pack, or keep out until moving day with other team members in spaces working the same magic.

What a difference a team makes!

Helping these clients tackle 3 attics, the garage and their primary closet made a huge impact. They were ready to clear the clutter, make access to items easier and properly store keepsakes for further review.

We scheduled six 3 hour visits (our standard 3 hour appointment time when a lot of decluttering decisions are to be made) and chose to divide and conquer while there. With some team members working one on one with the clients to make decisions, others were bagging donations, categorizing items, properly containing items, building racks and removing cardboard. At the end of each season all donations were removed and taken to charity.

Our last visit was today with one team member in the primary helping declutter, one in the garage installing the track system and completing cabinet organization and the third finishing the 3 attics with the final details. Every single item from every box and area in these each of these spaces was reviewed by the client. No more unknowns.

Key tips from this project:

- Get rid of cardboard - spiders love it
- Make storage bin sizes manageable so you can carry items out of the attic
- Label so you know what you have
- Clear bins make it easy to see with a quick glance
- Metro racks are superb for attic storage
- Track systems are amazing for tools
- Decluttering decisions are hard - smaller chunks are best
- Team work for the win

At your new home, we’re already in motion. Shelf liners are installed, rooms are labeled for seamless box placement, and daily essentials are set up where you need them. We guide the movers, ensure furniture is placed according to your floor plan, and oversee assembly of beds, shelving, and more.
