The Ruth Funk Center for Textile Arts (RFCTA) preserves and displays an international collection of textiles through rotating public exhibitions and educational programs. The RFCTA is part of Florida Institute of Technology, a top-rated science research university.

Hours: Tues.- Fri. 10am-4pm; Sat. noon - 4pm Free Admission Directions: FROM I-95: Take exit 180 (old exit# 71, U.S. 192) and head east. Turn right (South) on Babcock St. for approx 1 mile. After passing under the light for Southgate Blvd., TURN RIGHT into the parking lot off Babcock; park in the red-lined spaces for visitors of the Ruth Funk Center and Botanical Gardens and walk across the covered bridge to your left (our building will be right in front of you). FROM PALM BAY: Head north on Babcock St., TURN LEFT into the parking lot off Babcock immediately after crossing over University Blvd; park in the red-lined spaces for visitors of the Center and walk across the covered bridge to your left (our building will be right in front of you). Highlighting the collection are traditional handmade textiles, embroidery, garments and related accessories from Africa, Japan, India and Central Asia; European and North American embroidery, lace and samplers from the 17th through the 20th centuries; and contemporary wearable art and fiber arts.
