We are excited to welcome Jake Gill to Medicine Lodge!

A Kansas-grown country music artist, Jake brings energy, charisma, and a true love for connecting with his audience wherever he performs. You may also recognize him as an 8-time TikTok Award Winner and a 2012 finalist on NBC’s The Voice!

From his Kansas roots to stages across the country, Jake Gill knows how to put on a show and we can't wait to welcome him to the Peace Treaty Festival!

Calling all aspiring artists! We want YOU to be involved in this year's Art Show! All K-3 students are invited to showcase their skills with this coloring sheet created by local artist, Lori Jones!

All submitted art will will displayed at the 2026 Art Show on September 25-27. The winner of this year's art contest will be awarded with a Blick Young Artists Gift Set! This contest and information will also be shared out to all local schools.

Completed coloring sheets must be turned in by September 18th. You can mail your submissions to:

You can place your entries into the third annual Medicine Lodge Peace Treaty Art Show until August 15! Art will be displayed at the Lincoln Library, with the Art Show taking place on September 25-27, 2026!

Our Peace Treaty committees have been very busy this week. Our rodeo committee hosted a very successful Gyp Hills Roundup Rodeo Saturday night.

Saturday morning, members of the Treaty Troupe, Night Show and Cavalry scene represented the Peace Treaty Association in the Miss Kansas Parade.

Today, the Treaty Troupe girls are providing a concession and information booth for all the Bike Across Kansas riders who are staying in our community.

We are truly grateful for all our volunteers and sponsors who make Peace Treaty events possible every year! We couldn’t do it without your support!
