I pray for my family, our country, our world, I am thankful for goodness, truth, beauty, order and creativity. May God bless all of you.

Thank you for praying with us and for our ministry. We believe in the power of prayer – not because it “works” or gives us what we want, but because it changes our posture toward the God of the universe.

Have you ever wondered what it would be like to live in the late 1800s? Catch a glimpse of how an upper-class Jacksonville family’s lifestyle when Historic Jacksonville, Inc. opens the C.C. Beekman House Museum for 30-minute "19th Century Family Life" tours every Saturday from May 27 through September 2.
The Beekmans were Jacksonville’s richest and most prominent pioneer family. “Family Life” tours highlight their upper-class 19th Century daily life, changes brought about by the Industrial Revolution, and Victorian architectural and design innovations, providing insights into life in Jacksonville during the town’s heyday.
These half-hour tours begin every 20 to 30 minutes between 12 noon and 3 p.m. with costumed docents adapting the tours to guests' areas of interest. The 1870s Beekman House Museum is located at 470 E. California Street in Jacksonville, and the house remains completely furnished with family artifacts. The $5 admission (cash or check, paid at the door) goes to the on-going maintenance of this historic landmark.
You’ll find more information on our website at https://www.historicjacksonville.org along with a treasure trove of Jacksonville history. Follow Historic Jacksonville, Inc. on Facebook (historicjville) and Instagram (historicjacksonville) to find out how fun and interesting history can be!
