Rally Sunday is the worship service where we kickoff the church’s program year and re-covenant to ‘be the church’. Most years, it serves as a homecoming of sorts: we welcome back those who have been away for the summer, celebrate how good it is to be together in community, and recommit ourselves to the work of gospel love in the months to come.

While the pandemic will prevent us from holding Rally Sunday in person, we still plan to kick the day off in style. What’s more, we need your help to do it!

Please check out https://sanctuaryucc.org/rally-sunday-september-13-hillside-sanctuary-ucc/ to learn more about the four ways to participate in this fun event!

With the current social conditions present in both local and global perspectives, it is essential now to educate ourselves and act deliberately to be anti-racist. Sanctuary UCC is partnering with Hillside Community Church to bring you the Black Lives Matter Film Series.

This collection of films will deconstruct and frame an understanding of the inherent power structures in America and the effects this debilitating system has on communities and people of color. Please join us in listening, understanding, and acting in dismantling what racism is in our community.

Please check out igfn.us/form/MQcEQg for more information and registration details!

1 out of every 9 Medford residents struggles with food insecurity. What that means is that 1 out of every 9 of our neighbors is forced to choose between purchasing food and paying for other essentials such as rent, bills, and medication. We believe that God calls us to love our neighbor in real...

As of March 12 - based on the recommendation of our local Health Department, our denomination and the CDC ; Sanctuary UCC has determined to eliminate onsite gathering for at least two weeks.

Our current events will be rescheduled for a later date when more information comes out about the rapidly changing situation. Additionally, we are moving to online services with more information for that to come. We'll continue to monitor the data as it comes and keep everyone's best interest in mind.

Stay safe and may God bless you and your family during this time.
