This antique pump organ was housed in the Lewinsville Presbyterian Church, Lewinsville, VA I believe before the turn of the century. My grandfather's aunts (Katherine and Ann Mankin) lived across the street and were members of the church. They played the organ by candlelight (before electricity). My grandfather and his aunts are buried in the cemetery there. The house they lived in was deemed historical and moved down the street. I contacted the church about taking the organ, but they are renovating and do not have room for it. I need to find a home for it, and would like it to go to someone who can appreciate the history of it. It is a beautiful piece of furniture and it works, but could use some tuning/servicing. Please contact me if you are interested. Susan Parker 301 221-8323
