We have been getting a lot of positive feedback on our handmade body mists. We wanted to let you know that if you don’t want to drive to the Punta Gorda Farmers Market on Saturday mornings, you can find them at two different locations. The Island Flair Gallery Boutique in Matlacha and the Homestead.Market in Port Charlotte both carry our body mists. Please stop by to check out our new scents.

Our artist sponsored mermaid submission to the Greater Pine Island Chamber of Commerce raised $750.00! She was one of 21 auctioned off. Our artist team Kathryn Miller, Lisa Barnes Woerman, Mara Balodis, Randy Boersma, Jacki Osborne, Sandee Russell, and Norma McNally created a stunning, mixed media mermaid. Thank you to our artists, The Eagle’s Nest Restaurant, the Chamber, and all other volunteers who helped make this such a fun and successful event!

A heartfelt thank you to Bobbi of Coastal Waves Art for creating and donating these beautiful military service shadow display boxes representing each branch of the Armed Forces. These handcrafted pieces are helping us transform our Veterans Resource Room into a space that truly reflects the honor, sacrifice, and service of the men and women who have defended our nation.
Did you know that Lee County Government Human & Veteran Services visits Beacon every first Wednesday of the month to help local veterans connect with the benefits they have earned and the resources available to support them as they age?
At Beacon of Hope, we are proud to serve those who have served us.
Recently, we refreshed the room with a fresh coat of paint to make it more welcoming. Now, thanks to Bobbi, a proud Marine Corps spouse, the space is becoming something even more special, a place worthy of our veterans.
