The KPM is participating in the North Iowa Band Fest parade tomorrow. Our float will be at the end of the parage lineup - but they save the best for last. Be on the lookout for these figures as we pass by.

I posted earlier that the museum would be open during normal business hours on Saturday, but since most people will either be enjoying the Band Fest activites or spending time with family this holiday weekend the Kinney Pioneer Museum will be closed.

Please come out next Tuesday - Saturday for a better look at these familiar figures!

We couldn't have hoped for better weather for our first big event of the season, Vintage Tractor & Ag Day. Visitors were amazed by our large collection of objects from yesteryear, parents and kids wanted to see the tractors up close, and even jumped on to take a ride. Our brand new picnic tables provided comfortable seating and the children loved the farm animals (not live) from the North Iowa Fair's Little Farmers setup. I even added a bonus twist by sending the kids on a scavenger hunt through our Ag Barn and museum to find items related to the farm animals.

Spend some time with us today at Kinney Pioneer Museum. We're serving a BBQ lunch from 11 a.m. until gone. The Cedar Valley Engine Club will have some of their engines on display and doing demos. Their will be a Little Farmer Scavenger Hunt with prizes for the kids. Relax on our new benches and picnic tables and take a stroll through the museum.

Our most recent sponsor is Sanco Equipment. Check out their zero turn Bobcat mower and Bobcat loader on display at the museum.

See You Soon!
