Let your imagination take the lead! Artistic Whimsy celebrates the playful, unexpected, and imaginative side of art. Artwork may be inspired by the changing seasons and include fall, Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, winter, or other festive and whimsical themes.

Think colorful pumpkins, mischievous scarecrows, woodland creatures, cozy autumn scenes, spooky fun, whimsical turkeys, magical snowmen, cheerful Santas, fanciful ornaments, or completely imaginative creations.

There are no limits to where your creativity can take you! We invite artists of all ages and abilities to create something fun, fanciful, colorful, and full of personality.

Some dreams have a way of staying with us.

Ever since the early 2000s, I’ve wanted to visit The Wilds. A few weeks ago, I finally had the chance, and it was every bit as inspiring as I’d hoped.

Africa remains near the top of my bucket list, but until that day comes, spending time surrounded by incredible wildlife was a wonderful reminder of why I love painting animals. Every encounter becomes another opportunity to study movement, light, expression, and gather inspiration for future paintings.
