Another weekend, another memorable gathering at the MACC!

We had the absolute pleasure of hosting the American College of Trial Lawyers – Iowa Chapter this past weekend. It was an honor welcoming guests who traveled from all across the state (and country) right here to Marshalltown!

Even though we see our Monet Reception Hall transformed in so many ways, every event brings its own unique spin. For this gathering, we brought out our full suite of serveware to elevate the dining experience, and we provided cash bar services.

Whether it's a statewide conference, a formal dinner, or a milestone celebration, we love to help make your gathering seamless and special.

Ready to host your next event? We’d love to help you bring your vision to life in our space. Send us a direct message or visit our website to learn more about booking!

Check out these incredible Before & After pics! Kim Hornberg, Building and Grounds, has officially brought this beautiful sculpture and its surrounding landscape back to life.

You can find this piece right out front of the Martha-Ellen Tye Playhouse.

Keep an eye on our page, because we will be announcing details about the re-opening of the Playhouse very soon!

About the Art:
Titled "Pomone" (or "Spirit of the Grapes"), this piece was sculpted by Raoul de Gontaut Biron. It was generously presented to the Playhouse in 1984 by Martha Ellen Tye.

We enjoyed being part of the "Why Marshalltown Scavenger Hunt" yesterday!

Thanks to all the Marshalltown newcomers who participated. And thanks to the Marshalltown Area Chamber of Commerce for organizing this scavenger hunt.

Our activity asked attendees to draw a quick sketch of the well known sculpture in our pond titled "Dedication to the Future" by Christian Petersen.

Check out their sketches!
