Dry Creek Gallery is a fine art gallery featuring local artists whose works represent the history and culture of life in our Sierra Nevada Mountains. Our artists have a love and appreciation for the beauty surrounding them which flows from their heart to their hands, then to the canvas, camera, potters wheel, beadwork and beyond.

Leap Day Collage Art logistics:

The class will be held Thursday, February 29th at Dry Creek Gallery from 6:00-8:30 pm. The cost is $30.00/student.

I haven’t settled on the project yet. I have a few options running through my mind:

1.) I have plastic wine glasses that would be very fun to collage/paint and adorn.

2.) A mixed media collage of the Mariposa Court House or Tunnel View.

3.) Lastly, I will give you a theme (for example, the theme may be flowers or succulents) and then you have free reign to design your composition or I can set up a still life that you recreate using mixed media.

Dry Creek Gallery and Studio is having open studio today from 10-4. Any past or future students are welcome to come and work on projects.

Patti will be there to help with any unfinished pine needle baskets.

It’s a busy weekend ahead for Dry Creek Gallery!!

Kevin and Regan will have a booth at the Yosemite Holiday Craft Bazaar on Friday, December 1st, while I have a booth and will be instructing paint parties at the Soroptimist Craft Fair on December 1st and 2nd.

Both booths will have original paintings, prints and greeting cards available. Also available for purchase is various leatherwork from local artisans Charlie Johnston and Reed and Ellie Beery.

Kevin and Regan are excited to enjoy a beautiful day in Yosemite Valley and I can’t wait to paint at the fairgrounds in Building A! Everybody wins😊

The paint classes are available for children and adults (ages 4+). It’s a great time for the kids to paint a homemade gift for grandparents, teachers or parents.

We look forward to seeing you!!!
