Thank you to everyone who joined us for the opening reception of The Beauty of U.S. We appreciate having so many supporters of the arts here in Grant County- and that includes the GCAA. They truly put forth their talent, skill, and hard work and it is easily seen in this show. We also want to thank those artists who spoke about their work, sharing their stories, motivations, and processes with the audience.

If you weren’t able to make it, don’t fret. This exhibition will be up until July 29th- and much of the artwork is for sale, too! Stop in and see it any time we’re open, Tuesday- Friday, 10 am - 5 pm.

THIS SATURDAY! 🇺🇸🎨

Join us May 9th from 1 - 3 PM for the opening of our next show, The Beauty of U.S.! Bring a friend and enjoy local art from right here in Grant County, Indiana.

This collection reflects what the GCAA artists love about the United States of America. They captured the awe of natural landscapes, the architectural achievements of manmade structures, and illuminated elements of everyday life. We invite you to come and reflect on the unique beauty you find in the place we call home- and perhaps to bring some of it home with you! Many of the works in this show will be for sale, and any purchase will go towards supporting local artists.

Artists will be present at the event and refreshments will be provided.

The Grant County Art Association (GCAA), a nonprofit organization founded in 1952, is a community of artists and art enthusiasts dedicated to encouraging the active participation in and appreciation of the fine arts. GCAA welcomes interested adults of all skill levels.

To foster public interest and involvement in the arts, GCAA holds two original Art Shows each year in the Marion Public Library.

For more information, find GCAA on Facebook or Instagram, or email [email protected].
