I am mainly a painter but I dabble in mixed media, incorporating photography from time to time. I see myself as a visual storyteller, taking ordinary objects, putting different contexts and ideas in their compositions. In my art, I take ordinary objects and enhance their visual meaning. Nostalgic icons or everyday items find a place in my vividly colored pieces. When I'm not busy making art, I've

taught art and design at Young Harris College (2018-2021); and currently I instruct drawing and painting at the Roswell Visual Arts Center.
