As some of you may know, Wonder Workshop is a local non-profit that's been in the business of creating wonder for Manhattan children for more than 30 years. 🌟

We don't do it for the money or for the pats on the back. We do it for the moments a child's eyes light up with awe. We do it for the exclamations of "this is the best day ever!!" We do it for the kids and families who can't afford these experiences but who absolutely deserve them.

But we don't do it alone. We are deeply grateful for the organizations and businesses who donate time and money to support the vision that ALL children deserve a space to create, explore, experiment and build connections and community.

A very Thankful Tuesday to our sponsors who help make the Wonder Workshop world go round, and who help us make sure all kids have access to exceptional experiences.

You're right. School did *just* start. Yet, somehow, we're already thinking about the many school days out this fall. 🙃

On Sept. 25, kiddos in grades K-5 can sign-up for our Discovery Day ... a day-long camp that includes all the best things of childhood: freedom to explore, screen-free experiences that ignite their minds and a chance to make new friends and connect with old ones.

We were over the moon to see our littlest friends back at Preschool Explorations last week. So many new faces and old friends! Join us this week for a deep dive into ocean life!

🦈 Aug 25 and 27 @ 10am (different activities each day)
🐠 Story time with friends
🐟 Science & art activities led by our staff
🐬 Open exploration of the museum (imaginary play in the vet clinic and diner, a maker space for creativity, building space with blocks, legos and more!)

We are so excited to welcome back all of our little friends to Wonder Workshop this week! If you've been to Preschool Explorations before, we can't wait to catch up! If you are new to our program, here's what you can expect:

✨ Every Tuesday and Thursday at 10am, we'll have story time and themed activities + time for open play!
✨ Each week has one theme, but we have different activities each day!
✨ Open play in the museum before and after (and sometimes during if your little isn't interested in participating in the structured activities!) We are open from 9:30am-12:30pm.
✨ It's a great time for your kiddos to be around others their age and time for you to enjoy adult conversations (if you want!)
✨ Registration is not required, so you can come when you and your little(s) feel up to it and need a little bit of wonder in your day!
✨ You're always welcome to park in the back if there are spots or most parents will park on Yuma — you can always come up the back ramp if that's easier!

🚨NEW TIME🚨 Please note the new time so you don't miss out on the fun! We'll start at 10am (or a little after to give everyone a chance to park and walk over!)
