The permanent collection contains over 15,000 objects, representing nearly every medium including architecture. The Currier Museum is the only art museum in the world with two Frank Lloyd Wright homes. We are committed to supporting our diverse community through art. The museum creates impactful programs that serve the communities in greatest need today. We believe that art can inspire, bring people together, and create a better, more inclusive society. We also offer art classes, vacation art camps, master classes, and intensives. Scholarships are always available for tuition support. We offer both a Museum Shop and Café, both open to the public during museum hours without admission.

Join us in wishing a happy early birthday to Picasso, who would be turning 125 on October 25.

Celebrate by seeing Personal Mythologies: Picasso in the 1940s and 50s before it closes at the end of the month. This special exhibition features L'Homme au béret basque and The Two Children -- two Picasso paintings on public view for the first time — alongside the Picasso masterpiece from the Currier collection.

Together, these three works tell a story of how Picasso's complex personal life influenced his artistic career. In a world increasingly dominated by AI, Personal Mythologies centers the human behind the art.

Make sure to grab tickets to the Currier's Masquerade Night on October 30 from 6 PM through 9 PM. Enjoy a night looking at the masterworks of Florentine Baroque, watch a performance by NSquared Dance Company, and listen to live music from DJ Shamblez.

If you don't have a mask, don't worry, we have plenty for sale in the museum shop.

When was the last time the whole family put down their screens and made something new together?

Join us in the classroom studios on Saturday, October 17 from 1:30 to 3:30 PM for an introductory session of A Day to Play, our new family workshop series.

A Day to Play is everything you love about learning and creating at the Currier – from expert, supportive instruction to a museum full of inspiration – offered in a joyful afternoon for the whole family.

To help you explore what A Day to Play is all about, this first session is free with museum admission and pre-registration is not required! We'll be making theatrical masks like those in the Florentine Baroque exhibition.

A Day to Play is recommended for ages 6 and up; an adult must be present.

P.S. Kids under 12 always get into the Currier for free with a paying adult.

We can’t picture a more perfect definition of painting en plein air — AKA out of doors — than this.

Nancy Friese , one of the artists featured in the new Radical Quiet exhibition, led a watercolor workshop at the Frank Lloyd Wright Zimmerman House this week. Participants immersed themselves in nature and the fall foliage.

It was one of those only-at-the-Currier experiences, full of transcendence and great beauty, but also accessibility and community.

Thank you, Nancy, for sharing this special afternoon with the Currier.
