Ok members. Can anyone offer any information on this post. We were contacted by Deidra who works for a cultural resource management firm on the island of Maui as archaeologist. During a recent dig on the island of Maui, an excavator construction machine had unearthed a glass bottle embossed with Manchester, Ohio at the bottom of the base. I am wondering if you know of anything in regards to a glass bottle manufacturer or a distillery, or soda works company based in your town around the early 1920's to 1930's. It has a very interesting texture to it. It was found behind an old library on the island of Molokai about 5.5 feet deep in what appears to be a historic midden pit. Amongst it were bottle from soda companies in Honolulu dated 1923. The letter on the sides is "DY"
