I used to say that "The only reason we need to lock our cars in Mammoth is to keep the bears out". I stand corrected. This sign was an exhibit at our town museum - and was stolen Wednesday afternoon/evening. The Town and the local police have been ignoring the drug infused homeless camp along Mammoth Creek located just downstream from the museum. Mammoth is beginning to remind me of Portland now, as drug atticts roam the streets at night looking for things to steal. Mammoth's days of innocence might be gone due to the tolerance of our local government officials.

This sign has been stolen from The Hayden Cabin after 2pm on September 17th, 2025. If you come across this item around town or if someone attempts to sell it, please let us know. Thank you.
