This is a wonderfully made video about the oldest house in Madison, which is now for sale. The current owner is a former member and past president of our Board of Directors, whom we will greatly miss, but we wish her and her husband well on their new journey. So sit back and enjoy a real estate presentation unlike any other, not only about the historic Madison Livingston house, but the history of Madison's earliest days.

Special Request!

As many of you know, the Treasures of Madison County partners each year with Madison County Community Bank to create a calendar using historical photos from the museum's database. For the last few years, the bank has chosen a military theme, honoring local Veterans from past wars. In keeping with that theme, the bank would like the 2027 calendar to feature Veterans from Madison County who served honorably during the Desert Storm, Afghanistan and/or Iraq wars from 1990-2011. Unfortunately, we do not have enough military photos from this time period, so we are calling on the community to help us out. If you or a loved one from Madison County have a military photo from the designated time period you would like to share, there are three ways you can get the photo to us. Please be sure to include information about the Veteran, such as: rank, branch, unit, years of deployment, etc.

Option 1: You can drop off your photo at the museum during regular business hours, Tuesday-Friday 10am-2pm and Saturday 12pm-2pm. Please let the volunteer on duty know what the photo is for.

Option 2: You can mail them to us at:
Treasures of Madison County
P.O. Box 541
Madison, FL 32341
Re: Calendar Photos
If the photo is irreplaceable, we do not recommend this method, as mail can get lost.

*IMPORTANT: If you choose Option 1 or 2, please specify whether the photo is being donated or loaned to the museum. If loaned, also tell us how you would like the photo to be returned. We will scan the photo and get it back to you as soon as possible.

Option 3: You can send a digital photo along with the required information to our email address: [email protected]
Be sure to include "Calendar Photos" in the subject line.

Please DO NOT send photos to me by Facebook Messenger. They must be sent using one of the options listed above. To be considered for the calendar, photos submitted must be for the specificed conflicts and years requested, along with the information requested above. The final decision regarding which photos will be chosen for the 2027 calendar will be made by Madison County Community Bank and NOT by Treasures of Madison County, Inc. If you have any questions, please let me know.

Thank you,
