Had a board meeting and supper at Nolan’s … VERY GOOD… several people there… I should have gotten up and walked around and got better pictures
Program was put on by Dale Bagley, about Hugh Dunn… that was very interesting!! And Door prizes … lots of them!

Monday night at the Museum!!! Had a great turn out… thanks to all that made cookies, and the Macon Chamber of Commerce for the FOOD TOO!!

HANDICAP RAMP STAINING PROJECT

The Macon County Historical Society (MCHS) is accepting sealed bids for labor and tools only or to include a quality stain. This project can be bid either way with either MCHS providing the stain or if bidder has stain please note that in your bid. This project is the staining of the top and underside of the handicap ramp on the MCHS Museum building located at 1402 S. Missouri Street, Macon, Mo.

Project Details:

MCHS can provide all stain necessary for the project.
The successful bidder will be responsible for providing all necessary labor and tools/equipment (brushes, rollers, etc.)……bids will be accepted for labor only or labor and all supplies to properly prepare and stain the handicap ramp…please note this is to stain the top and underside of the ramp.
Please state in your bid whether you are bidding labor only or labor and stain.

Bids will be accepted until 2:00 p.m. on October 2, 2026.

Bids received after the deadline will not be considered.

After the rendezvous, stop in at the Macon County Historical Society Museum. The museum is across the street from the fairgrounds. There are three floors of Macon County history so come over and check them out.
