In tribute to the 50th Earth Day, for those of you who know me from before I became a professional photographer and have branded me as a tree hugger, yes started the first recycling drop off in Rogers City, northern Michigan in 1970, yes I have saved old growth trees on the campus of NMC, environmentalist, yes was a member to shut down Charlevoix nuclear plant because of it’s age, energy conservationist, yes conducted over 10,000 audits, it’s true. Please know that during this "quarantine" our rivers are cleaning up, vegetation is growing back, the air is becoming cleaner especially in major city’s because of less pollution, animals are returning to our national parks & the Earth is at rest for the first time in over 40 years. I pray we all come out of this pandemic stronger & more compassionate for Mother Earth & love one another much more. Slow down & smell the flowers. I’m also praying for all the family’s & friends that have lost love ones. 😢 Stay safe, stay healthy. We will be back to work someday soon, be happy 😊 pictures are copyrighted
