Celebrate the 96th birthday of artist and activist, Faith Ringgold, with a film screening, discussion, and cupcakes! Thurs 10/8 @ 6pm. "Paint Me a Road Out of Here" uncovers the whitewashed history of Ringgold’s masterpiece, "For the Women’s House", following its 50-year journey from Rikers Island jail to the Brooklyn Museum. FREE and open to the public.

Solastalgia is described as “homesickness while still at home”—the present-tense pain and deep grief experienced when the familiar environment of home is transformed and degraded by factors like mining, urbanization, or climate change.
