Maier Museum of Art at Randolph College

Maier Museum of Art at Randolph College Free admission and open to visitors year-round. Located on Randolph College's picturesque campus. The Studio Art Thesis Exhibition is held in late spring.

"The Annual," an exhibition of contemporary art, is presented each fall. Additional exhibitions feature works of art on loan or from the Permanent Collection. The Maier serves the Randolph College community, Lynchburg and the Central Virginia region with a robust schedule of programs and public events.

Solastalgia is described as “homesickness while still at home”—the present-tense pain and deep grief experienced when the familiar environment of home is transformed and degraded by factors like mining, urbanization, or climate change.
