Why we cant down the runway lining up for a formation takeoff -- the Corsair pilot didn't wait for the flagman to tell him the Bearcat was clear and bad thing happened.

Got the fuel tank primed.  If it'll stay dry today, the center section will get varnish (I do that outside).

Center section ready for varnish and fuel tank ready for new primer. Tank was built in 1941 and installed uncovered (you can see the pinking) during the war. Plus part of the pile of sandpaper I went through.

Checked the fuel tank yesterday and finished the trailing edge plywood.  Time to start cleaning up for paint prep.
