Tess Dunkel-McKnight

Tess is an expressive realist artist based in Luray, Kansas, specializing in drawing and oil painting. Her work blends whimsy, emotion, and thought-provoking themes, often inspired by Kansas landscapes, live models, and humor. Originally from California, she now considers Kansas home, embracing its sunflower-filled scenery while recalling the poppies of her youth.

A lifelong artist, Tess began exhibiting at 15 and has created thousands of self-portraits, using them as a tool for artistic growth. Her work often carries a psychological depth, merging her vision with her surroundings. She contributed to Luray’s Barn Quilt project and remains deeply connected to the region’s artistic scene.

For Tess, art is a way to bring thoughts and emotions to life. Despite challenges, she remains prolific, revisiting and refining her work to ensure it reflects her ever-evolving vision. Her art invites viewers into a colorful world where emotion and playfulness collide.

Robert (Bob) Brozek is a talented self-taught photographer based in Hutchinson, Kansas. With over 30 years of photography experience, Brozek specializes in capturing the beauty of the Kansas landscape and its diverse wildlife. Each of his framed pieces is thoughtfully crafted, and he also sells some practical items adorned with his beautiful photography. Brozek has a keen eye for detail and a unique perspective, making them perfect additions for art collections, or a decorative home.

Vivian Redfern

Vivian Redfern, born in Oberlin, KS has spent the past three years in Goodland, KS. She pursued art at Colby Community College, shining academically before prioritizing family life and raising three children. Resuming her education in 1987, she earned a Bachelors of Arts in Elementary Education from the University of Nebraska in 1991 and further secured an Art Education degree, qualifying her to teach Art K-12, Elementary K-9, and English as a Second Language. Now retired after a fulfilling career in teaching art at Mankato and Sublette, KS, Vivian dedicates her days to creating art.
