The Vintage Motor Car Club of America toured Lucas on October 12! Eighty-five guests along with their all-original vintage vehicles explored a few of Lucas' numerous sites: The Grassroots Art Center, the Garden of Eden, Bowl Plaza, the Deeble Rock Garden, and Garden of Isis.

Guests enjoyed an art-themed lunch at the Community Center: Inez Marshall's limestone bierock, Ed Root's bits & pieces jello salad, Courtyard limestone fencepost breadsticks and Garden of Eden's Apple Crisp.

Travelers from as far east as Virginia and as far north as Montana came for a day of exploration. For some this was their first time visiting Lucas, others have participated in years past. We hope to see you all again next year for more fun cars, conversations, and art!

The 2-day workshop will take place at Rob's Dew Dat Den Studio, 218 W First St, on September 19 & October 3 from 12-4pm. The class size is limited to five participants.

Individuals of all skill levels can learn how to transfer images onto linoleum and carve them with the tools provided by the 75$ fee. The second day of the workshop will include printing an edition of your linocuts with a professional relief press.
