Outtakes-
“…Our museum “parlor” is now the location of the very old piano that was once in the Langtry house on the Guenoc estate.
Those of you who may be interested in drafting and cartography would certainly be interested in a collection tools used in these crafts. They were donated by Nancy Ross whose father used them and whose grandfather is buried at the Lower Lake Cemetery.
We had a booth at the Blackberry Festival, a display at both the Lake County Fair and the State Fair. For the State Fair, a mockup of the museum building was created and artifacts were displayed. The exhibit featured a tape of Jane Weaver telling about the geography and history of the area.”
Note: “Cartography is the art, science, and technology of making and using maps.” Wikipedia
