Earlier this month, we celebrated the end of this year’s Youth Summer Art Program with a Graduation and Art Exhibition!

The Whistler House Museum of Art displayed all the student’s artwork in our Parker Gallery, where friends and families gathered to watch their young artists receive a diploma and painter’s smock.

We are so proud of their achievements and will miss all of the newest members of the Lowell Art Association. Thank you to all of the students, teachers, interns, and volunteers who made this another wonderful summer!

Happy Birthday, Jamie!

The artists in this year’s Youth Summer Art Program celebrate the 192nd birthday of famous American artist, James McNeill Whistler.

On July 11, 1834, Whistler was born in the historic house, now home to the Whistler House Museum of Art and Lowell Art Association, Inc.

The Whistler House Museum of Art is open Wednesday through Saturdays, 11am to 4pm for tours of his historic birthplace. Come again and tour the childhood home of one of America’s greatest artists!

Congratulations to the Board of Trustees and Staff of the Lowell Cemetery on a wonderful event!!
